The Long Beach Public Libraries are offering a summer reading program for Long Beach Youth.
“Get a Clue at Your Library” begins June 16th and each branch offers unique activities for all ages. Kids are sure to enjoy solving mysteries, playing games and earning prizes. They will learn to use the library catalog to search for books and clues about authors and characters.
Each child will receive a book-bag, bookmark, a reading log and a box of crayons to keep track of their progress. Everyone is encouraged to go to the library and read for at least 20 minutes a day.
For more information you can visit the Los Altos Neighborhood Library located at 5614 Britton Drive or call (562) 570-1045.
